Take route no 8 from Warsaw and head to the north-east to Bialystok.

Bialystok is located about 200km east from Warsaw and 30km away from the boarder with Belarus. With its 300 thousands inhabitants, the city is one of the most important economic cities of Poland, also thanks to its proximity to Belarus. The region of Podlasie has been populated by Poles, News, Tatars, Byelorussians, and Ukrainians living together for ages. This mixture of nations and their mutual relations contributed to the unique culture of this land, which is visible in its beautiful buildings, rich traditions and interesting customs that are nowhere else to be fund.
